Is it possible to change the default value of NULL Values property in Data Manager 2015 ? We'd like to automate a crawling job but set this value automatically.
I've checked in the database but I can't find the table.field where it is stored.

The value you need to change is backgroundValue in C:\Program Files\Hexagon\ERDAS APOLLO\config\erdas-apollo\providers\coverage\im-providers.fac
in the EAIM service
<CREATE ID="EAIM" JCLASS="com.ionicsoft.wmtmap.provider.coverage.HierarchicalProvider">
<PARAM NAME="backgroundValue" VALUE="0"/>
or it can be changed here
Then restart Tomcat
More information describing the other WCS Provider Parameters is available here

I can see in the help file :
NULL Values - The NULL VALUE, or 'No Data' value, is the transparency value of underlying raster datasets. ERDAS APOLLO uses that value to understand what pixels in the data grid should be considered as transparent. That value is set to 0 by default, but you can change it if the underlying datasets use another pixel value as 'NULL VALUE'
I'd like to change the default value.
I want to change it at the Catalog level ... not at the services level.
Where is it stored/read ?

As I suggested in my previous post, changing the "Null value" for the service in the Data manager or BackgroundValue in the XML configuration file will change the Default Null value for any new aggregate.
If you wish to change existing Aggregate Null values, the best way is to do a batch update with the Data Manager.

how would I specify no transparency at all ?
As stated in the help file :
I tried specifying 256 but I still see transparent pixels as if it defaulted to 0. I also tried with a random value (111) to verify that the setting is effective.

thank you very much for your answer.
-1 keeps the white transparent.
We tried with -5 (randomly) and now transparency is removed.
