Re: Google Earth WMS stretch problem

Since this post describes a Webmap workflow and a setting made via the GeoMedia WebMap Administrator application it is being moved to the 'Support WebGIS' discussion forum so that it is afforded greater visibility to the WebMap user base.

A brief description of the 'Stretch image' option is provided in the online 'GeoMedia WebMap Administrator Guide' at the link...

Google Earth WMS stretch problem

[ Edited ]

Hi there,

We had a very strange problem showing a wms layer served by Geomedia webmap in Google Earth : features would appear misplaced and stretched. Moreover the features' location (in this case points) was changing after pan and zoom.

The problem stemmed from a setting in Geomedia Desktop : you have to make sure that Stretch Image in settings is checked. All features will therefore be correctly positioned.
