WebMap backend search somehow remember deleted connection in WMPS source

Hi team,

In WebMap 16.5, we create backend search instances. During the process, we delete feature connection; however, the search configuration somehow still remember deleted connection. Everytime, we republish the WMPS source, we restart webmap service, capabilities document service, clean up the cache folder in BackendWMPS, but deleted connection somehow keeps showing up in "Select Searchable Attribute list".

I have no idea how it could happen.

Appreciate all suggestions and ideas,

Kind regards,

Re: WebMap backend search somehow remember deleted connection in WMPS source

Hi Bob,

It could be held in the ASP.NET session, have you tried to restart WWW service (or at least recycle the related App Pool)?

BTW: Capabilities Service caches only OGC services used by Geospatial Portal, it has no influence here.

This looks like it might be cached in the Geospatial Server Administration Console Service. It's a Windows Service running on the server. Have you restarted it as well as recycling the Administration Console web application in IIS?
