DataManager 2018u4 cannot connect to Apollo server

I have installed Apollo Server and DataManager 2018u4 on the same server.

When I enter the server URL in the DataManager I always get a 404 error.

Same problem with http://localhost and http://server_name (port 80).

Any idea?

NB: When I run the Apollo server wizard I have first a message saying that 64-bit JAVA is not installed whereas I have the jdk-8u221-windows-x64 installed and set the JAVA_HOMEenvironment variable to the corresponding location. Despite of this message the wizard process goes to the end.

Thank you.

Re: DataManager 2018u4 cannot connect to Apollo server

I would double check that 1) JAVA_HOME points to the root folder of your Java installation, such as JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_221 and 2) make sure %JAVA_HOME%\bin is in your PATH environment variable. I would reboot after setting these, just for good measure.  If the problem persists, you might try uninstalling any other versions of JAVA that might be on the same system.
Good luck!
