Hello everyone,

I would just like to know how many number of users does ERDAS APOLLO Professional 8-Core Single Concurrent License can handle? (i.e. Simultaneous editing, viewing, uploading, etc) Thank you very much.

The Apollo Professional License does not limit the number of users.

Performance and the number of users using a single Apollo Professional instance can be affected by a number of different factors. The main factors include; the Type and Compression ratio of imagery being served, Network and Data Storage speed, configuration of the server, how Apollo is used by the users and Hardware performance are probably the main factors. But good configuration and Clustering can be used to boost performance where required.

The best way to determine the number of users that can be supported by your instance is by doing benchmarking using software like Apache JMeter. This will also help pinpoint possible performance bottlenecks and help you tune Apollo to get it running at peak performance.
