Opening files and thumbnails

If opening PDF, or DOCX etc from Catalog Explorer, will it open in a locally assigned product? So open on the client machine, not in the browser?

APOLLO thumbnails - can they be set/changed for when non raster items, such as for PDF grab thumb of it or of title page?

Thanks

Re: Opening files and thumbnails

This could be browser setting

https://blogs.adobe.com/acrolaw/2007/08/how_do_i_open_a_pdf_in_acrobat_i/

For thumbnail for business data, Apollo will need to include different libraries to reand PDF and Microsoft docx in order to generate thumbnail. This is not possible currently, but could be enhancement request or development ticket.

Re: Opening files and thumbnails

With gim files, you can associate thumbnails to business data.
