ECW for ArcGIS Desktop Plugin 2020 for Windows (16.6.1.20) is now available

 

The plugin is available for download at the Hexagon Geospatial downloads website.

 

Instructions to install this update:

 

  • Any previous install of the plugin must be un-installed before installing this version.
  • This 2020 release supports only Esri® ArcGIS Desktop 10.8. Customers on prior Esri 10.7 versions should continue to use the appropriate ECW for ArcGIS 2018 release for their current version. This will not install on previous Esri ArcGIS Desktop versions.

 

Prerequisites:

 

  • Esri® ArcGIS Desktop 10.8

 

Fixes and Highlights included:

 

  • Added support for Esri®'s latest 10.8 platform release (ArcGIS for Desktop & ArcGIS for Server)
