ERDAS APOLLO Essentials 2020 Linux Release Announcement (16.6.0.773)

Hexagon Geospatial is pleased to announce the release of ERDAS APOLLO Essentials 2020 Linux (16.6.0.773)

 

These products are available for download at the Geospatial downloads website.

 

Install Instructions:

Prerequisites:

  • Geospatial Licensing Administrator 2020

Fixes and Highlights included:

  • Cloud Optimized ECW storage method for AWS S3 
  • TIFF Output format support from APOLLO Core service types 
  • Improved handling of sub-dataset raster formats such as Sentinel-2 
  • WebAssembly ECWP Browser decoder - Preview 
  • New Catalog Client – Preview 
  • Miscellaneous platform and performance improvements

The Linux instructions are in the install instructions, after the Windows ones.

Thanks Marc for the added PDF documentation.

 

Would you be able to share a direct link to 'fluid documentation' related to the Linux installation?

As Florent mentioned some scrolling is required to get to the documentation, but unfortuantely I can't get into Linux part at all.

Sorry Slavo.

 

Looks like there is a limitation in our FluidTopics as I can't seem to link directly to that specific section.

 

The easiest way to get there directly is do a search for "Linux CentOS 6/7 Installation Guide"  at https://hexagongeospatial.fluidtopics.net/.

Then use the find function of your browser (ctrl f) to find "Linux CentOS 6/7 Installation Guide" which would scroll you right down to the correct location in the guide.
