Suggestion for a future release of the MMW SDK: Include a configuration option for the timeout for the $GP.position.getCurrent method
We prefer using this method rather than the navigator.geolocation methods as we get the coordinates back in the current map CRS. The issue is that the default timeout (2 seconds) is too short for some android devices to get the current GPS position. We are currently modifying the app.js file to increase the timeout, but it would be preferable to include the timeout value in the method call.

Thanks for the suggestion. I added it to our backlog.
We're planning to add a "GPS warming" mechanism. E.g. On the app start, the app would pool the sensor for location. Then when user requests for a position, it would take less time to retrieve it.
