I have a custom command which was activated during my GeoMedia session. If I now want to close GeoMedia I get asked twice whether to save the workspace.
If I did not save the workspace I get a message box asking:
"File has been changed since last save. Do you wish to save changes?"
This is normal and I can click any button.
But afterwards I get another message box asking:
"Save changes to XXX.gws?"
And I have to accept or decline it again. If I click cancel the GeoMedia window is still visible but not responding any more.
Is there a way to get rid of the second message box?
Thanks for any help!

the problem is most likely caused by not terminating your command properly, which again is most likely caused by not releasing all COM references properly. It would be also good to always include the GeoMedia version for issues like this.

I am using GeoMedia Version 16.
If I got it rigth, you don't have to release the COM objects any more, but you still have to set them to null, and I missed one here.
Thank you very much for your help!

yes, GeoMedia 2016 is less sensitive to releasing references than it used to be before, yet it still requires some attention. I am glad that it helped.
