How to show polygon, point, and line within a polygon in GMSC?

Hi. How do I go about on this? This is the flow:-

1) User search a big polygon from 1 database (lets say a town).

2) User click on the searched town name, and the town will be displayed on the map together with polygon, point, line (from another database) within this polygon.

Regards.

Re: How to show polygon, point, and line within a polygon in GMSC?

Hi,

please provide more context. Are you searching for a customization to add layers on the fly? Because in general the legend of GMSC is not dynamic. You can switch on and off existing layers, but you cannot add new ones, unless you provide a custom plugin on the client side.

Stefano

Hi Stefano,

I'm looking for a way to do it either by customization or any other way. So it can be done by customization?

if you need to add a legend entry to legend dynamically there are 2 discussions here that may be of help:

If you just want to show a specific set of features from an existing legend entry in your legend you can use session filter instead:
