Deploying MMW Service

Deployment

  1. Unpack Mobile SDK package to C:/mobilesdk
  2. Add permissions for IIS_IUSRS to mmw-sdk.sdf file.
    1. Click 'Locations...' button and choose your server then click 'OK'.
    2. In 'Enter the object name to select' field type 'IIS_IUSRS', click 'Check Names'.
    3. Click OK.

    1. In Windows Explorer navigate to C:\mobilesdk\services\mmw-service\Database folder
    2. Right-click mmw-sdk.sdf file.
    3. From the pop-up menu, select Properties, and then in the Properties dialog box click the Security tab.
    4. Click the Edit button.

    5. In 'Permissions for mmw-sdk.sdf' dialog box click Add button.Capture_EA.png
    6. In 'Select Users or Groups' dialog box.
    7. Find the local IIS_IUSRS and give him Modify parmissions.

    8. Click OK.

Note: If you unpack the Mobiel SDK package to difrent location then C:/mobilesdk you will need to change the:

  • path to the MMW Service configuration database (./services/mmw-service/database/mmw-sdk.sdf) in the ./services/mmw-service/service/web.config file
