After the Program Executes the AppendGeometry method of the GeometryEditService, no graphics are displayed in the MapView.
If the variable for the GeometryEditService is declared in a function or subroutine of the program, then its scope is only as long as the program is executing that particular function or subroutine. As soon as the function ends, then the GeometryEditService variables goes out of scope.
It appears that no graphics are being created by the Service or that some other issue is causing the graphics to not display in the MapView. However, if the program is modified to declare the variable for the GeometryEditService as a module global variable (i.e. at the top of the file) or a program global variable, then any geometries that are appended to the GeometryEditService will display in the MapView unil the GeometryEditService variable is explicitly released.
