We have an aerial ecw mosaic image of our country that is 866GB in size.
We have this image crawled and furnished from apollo catalog with everything setup for czs.
We have being using this feature from version 15 with no issue , but did not test if it is still working for a while now.
Currently we are on Ver 16 Ep02 now on both webmap , Apollo and Portal (SDK and OEM) and noticed some strange behaviour when trying to use czs from Portal SDK.Got the same behaviour from OEM Portal.
Steps I followed from Portal:
1.Browse Apollo Catalog.
2.Click on aggregate that contains mosaic ecw
3.Click on the image in the pane and click on "Clip-Zip-Ship"
4.CZS tab opens with image(common options tab).
5.Enter mail address.
6.Keep default image SRS selected
7.Untick entire image check box.
8.Select dra on map (draw box)
9.Draw small area on the map (About 30 square meter)
10.No buffer , click on submit.
What happens then is , it jumps to the coverage options tab (available bands section)
And the below message is logged and displayed:
Maximum request size exceeded. Request size was 524132872 MB. Allowed maximum size is 100 MB
It looks like it is ignoring my bounding box and the return size is larger than the complete image.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback!
I have checked the max download size previously and it is set to 100mb.
We kept is small as we do not want users to overload th network(we can increase this but not nearly to the size it is stating the selection is)
When you say check the resolution output , were would I check this?
On the czs panel in portal?(see Image)
if so , what is the ranges?poor -> High value

Thanks,I came right.
Was a few issues.
1.Provisioning protocol not supported on https, was on http according to data manager , changed it in the database
Changed the STRING_VALUE in CATALOG_SYS_PARAMS to http.
2.Was an issue on the clients smtp server,(mail could not relay)
3.Provisioning physical path correct but linked to another weird , yes , but removed and added it.) working again.
4.Then the size issue , used pixel measurement and not map , on map the image size is huge , unless one change the reolution x y [DMSH] value (Is this what you meant with the output resolution?)
