Hi, I have some datasets without projection,but they had the coordinate. I crawler them with datamanager, and I set the default SRS of the directory to the correct one EPSG:32648, and I select the WMS/WMTS, and I set the output projection to 4326/3857. Then the job shows good.
But when I try to add the dataset in the portal with WMTS, nothing shows. And I try to find something about these datasets in http://localhost/erdas-iws/ecw_wmts.dll/APOLLO-Catalog?service=WMTS&request=getcapabilities and http://localhost/erdas-iws/ogc/wmts/APOLLO-Catalog?service=WMTS&request=getcapabilities. I find nothing!
The WMS in portal is good, I think it is because I select the WMS legacy in the configuration.
But the http://localhost/erdas-iws/ogc/wms/APOLLO-Catalog?service=WMS&request=getcapabilities is not good.
Is that means that the APOLLO-core/Essentials do not support the dataset without projection?

Yes, your are right. When you select the CRS before the crawling, it is for cataloging the image and for the legacy WMS. The WMTS is coming from the Core so that is why your image is not supported.
So, the only way would be to have the CRS stored in the image metadata. I have checked your image, it is a result of a process in img. So, it shouldn't be too much effort the add a step to your process to add the CRS to the image?

Yes, it is a result. But all our data do not have projection, we were asked to delete them because in the processing, we found that erdas imagine and arcgis desktop do not compatibility when the srs is chinese projection, such as xian80 or CGCS2000 etc.
So is there any other way to solve this wmts problem ?

For the WMTS, you need a valid CRS that can be read from the image files. With the Core, you cannot specify manually the coordinate system of an image.
The solution would be to update the images to add the CRS if possible. I am not aware of the issue you mention.
