i have an issue and i hope can help me.
I created a geospatial portal instance and i configured default credentials for apollo catalog in the geospatial portal web.config.
to create the portal this is the process:
I added an Apollo service to Portal (with its credentials), then
i add a raster dataset to the portal, which is added with a url like this:
I define and set the workspace to the portal instance.
The agregate of this raster dataset has several defined styles.
When start up the application, everythin is ok, although the symbology (overwiew) image in the legend is obtained from
however the issue is genereted when i try change the style, the service change the style without problem, but it shows a window requesting credentials just for change the symbology (overwiew) image in the legend. it try conect to a service like this:
this must not happen because it have configured the crendentials from the portal web.config
I tried register this service (coverage) with credenciales, but it does not store them.
we tried also get the same image (overview) from the principal WMS, passing the same parameters and the result was successful, constructing an URL like this:
we know that coverage appears in the service getCapabilities xml, the question is: can we edit the xml getCapabilities? not to use erdas-apollo/coverage/EAIM and set up ApolloCatalogWMS/service.svc. or we want know can to do for remove this credentials request, but the service is not public.
thanks and i hope can help me!
any contribution is welcome

Not sure I understand your workflow.
For "remove credentials", do you mean the default Apollo catalog credential: admin/apollo123?
For changing style for Apollo raster aggregate, are you using the built-in raster style editor @ Apollo data manager?

I want say: remove request credentials. That is, I want not that Geospatial Portal shows a window to enter credentials, because the credentials are writed in the portal web.config.
regards to "changing style for Apollo raster aggregate", I create the styles in data-manager, and here everything ok, the issue is in the portal.
here are some ilustrative images

So you define user "portales" with password "SomePassword$987589?" from data manager?
Data manager->Users, right-click choose "create users"? And then assign RW permission @ this user to your aggregate?

yes, I have created multiple user accounts.
the password of portales user is other, but it is the same wich is such in data-manager as in the original web.config.
