What product levels of DigitalGlobe and GeoEye imagery are suitable for triangulation and orthorectification with IMAGINE Photogrammetry?
In general, radiometrically corrected and geometrically uncorrected imagery are used for triangulation and orthorectification in IMAGINE Photogrammetry.
For DigitalGlobe imagery, the .imd file contains the processing level information. (e.g. imageDescriptor = "Stereo1B" ). Processing levels can also be found in the filename (e.g. P2AS). Basic 1B, Mini 1B and Orthoready Standard 2A are suitable for stereo and orthorectification in IMAGINE Photogrammetry. Standard 2A and Orthorectified 3A products cannot be orthorectified because they are already orthorectified.
For GeoEye imagery, the metadata files contain the processing level information. Geo, GeoStereo and GeoStereo Precision are suitable for orthorectifcication with IMAGINE Photogrammetry. GeoProfessional and GeoProfessional Precision are not suitable because they are already orthorectified.
