How to specify the correct Fiducial Orientation in IMAGINE Photogrammetry?
In order to perform the Interior Orientation it is necessary to select the correct Fiducial Orientation. The help documentation for the Frame Editor has useful diagrams, which make it easier to find the correct Fiducial Orientation. It is necessary to make sure which direction the images are scanned in. Very often they are not in the same direction as specified in the camera certificate, it is therefore necessary to compare the position of the flight measurement instruments or the image data strip of the camera certificate with the position on the scanned photo. If the scanned image is not in the same orientation as the image in the camera certificate, it is necessary to input the fiducials accordingly. In the help documentation the flight measurement instruments are represented as a black bar.
