Question

When trying to launch either the XPro Semi-Global Matching or the Tridicon Semi-Global Matching DTM Extraction dialogs when working with frame camera imagery in an IMAGINE Photogrammetry project a warning message appears stating “Semi-Global Matching (SGM) module doesn't support the sensor type.” Does SGM support frame camera imagery?

Answer

XPro Semi-Global Matching generates high-resolution digital surface models from digital frame camera imagery only. Tridicon Semi-Global Matching generates high-resolution digital surface models from digital frame camera and satellite images that could be accurately modeled by rational polynomial coefficients (RPC).

For frame cameras use ATE or eATE in IMAGINE Photogrammetry.
