Hexagon Geospatial announces the immediate release of ERDAS Extensions 2016 SP1 for ArcGIS® 10.4 and 10.4.1. This is a service pack that includes both fixes and feature enhancements that expand the core capabilities of the ArcGIS platform.

ERDAS Extensions 2016 includes the following products.

  • Stereo Analyst for ArcGIS lets you distinguish features in your imagery faster and more easily, and increases the accuracy of the features that you collect.
  • ERDAS Terrain Editor for ArcGIS allows you to edit your terrain files using the stereo viewing environment, while updating your Geodatabase Terrain datasets.
  • FeatureAssist for ArcGIS, an optional add-on for Stereo Analyst, provides templates thatsimplify the collection of complex roofstructures.

ERDAS Extensions 2016 SP1 includes the following new features and enhancements.

  • Terrain editing can now be performed at pyramid levels. The Area Operators work regardless of edit scale.
  • Auto-correlation can now be performed at pyramid levels. Newly correlated points can be integrated directly into the terrain mass points regardless of edit scale.

ERDAS Extensions 2016 SP1 can be downloaded from the Hexagon Geospatial download site.

ERDAS Extensions 2016 SP1 does not require an additional v2016 license.

Prerequisites: ERDAS Extensions 2016 for ArcGIS 10.4

The ERDAS Extensions 2016 SP1 Release Guide is attached to this article. The system requirements, issues resolved, new features, etc. for ERDAS Extensions 2016 SP1 can be found in the Release Guide.

Hi team,

The download has been removed from the new download portal. Could you please add a new link for the Service Pack?

Thanks and regards,
