Can I generate a change detection matrix from the raster output of the Matrix Union tool on ERDAS?

I'm doing post-classification comparison with two supervised classifications of 1 m spatial resolution on ERDAS Imagine.

I found another discussion on this community (https://goo.gl/yTMvjw), followed the steps and they worked.

The output of the Matrix Union analysis was a raster file, seeminly intersecting the two classifications.

I opened the attribute table and saw the comparison between values, but is there a way to export a change detection matrix from it, similar to the one below?

You can generate that type of matrix using the Summary tool.

ERDAS IMAGINE > Raster tab > Thematic menu > Summary Report of Matrix

After selecting your input images make sure that the output option is set to Interactive (CellArray). Click OK to display the Summary By Zone dialog and choose Summary Matrix from its View menu.

Summary By Zone dialog > View menu > Summary Matrix

How do I change the Values for my nine Land Classes from 1 - 145 to 1-9 so that I can obtain a Summary Matrix as shown by Jeff from a previous discussion  (https://goo.gl/yTMvjw).

Hi Debbie,

You can recode your classified image to remove the empty classes. Please review my response in another topic discussion for detailed instructions.
