How to find the background (NoData) value of an image?

Hi,

How to find the background (NoData) value of an image?

I am trying to search in HFA View of a Landsat8 data set with the search string “ Eimg_NonInitializedValue”  at root node and all the sub nodes but nothing found.

Plese see the attached.

Re: How to find the background (NoData) value of an image?

You can use the Image Metadata tool to check an image's NoData value. Click on the Image Metadata tool's Edit menu and select Set/Clear NoData Value. The Set or Clear NoData Value dialog window will show the NoData value if it has been set. If a NoData value has not been defined for the image then the NoData Value field will be blank
