Satellite, Radiometrics, Magnetics and Vector data integration

Dear Community,

Happy New Year.

I am experiencing a problem while working with the LandsatTM.ers ( which has 7bands) dataset where i am expected to carry out darkpixel correction, save the dataset and calculate statistics.

My problem comes in where the resulting output named CapeYork_Landsat_AtmCorrected.ers only has 3bands compared to the input, and am expected to compute ratios that require all the bands.

Why is the output image less the other bands?

Does it have to do with saving either as virtual dataset or raster dataset?

What does calculating statistics help dO?

Regards,

Lilian

Re: Satellite, Radiometrics, Magnetics and Vector data integration

Hi

If your output contains only 3-bands you may have selected a file type that only support RGB (3bands) for example jpeg etc

Can you confirm the output extension you are using ?

You should also calculate statistics especially if dealing with dynamic datasets and performing raster processing.  Check the output and statistics and try again, see how you go.

Kind Regards,

Dear Angela,

I saved the output file as a Raster dataset with the .ers file format.

Dear Angela,

Any way forward?

I saved the output file as a Raster dataset with the .ers file format
