how to go to particular pixel if its row and column values are already known in erdas imagine

Dear All,

how to see particular pixel values for all bands from its known row and column values in erdas imagine. Suppose row no. 318 and column no. 514, then how to zoom in to that pixel?

Re: how to go to particular pixel if its row and column values are already known in erdas imagine

Hi dheeraj,

Its very easy to do this with the Inquire Cursor. Bring up the Inquire Cursor dialog and change the coordinate type pull down to File. Enter the row / column coordinate you want to got to and hit Enter. If the entered coordinate location is off the current display extent the View will re-center on that coordinate. If it's already in the display extent you can center the point by hitting the "Center View around Cursor" button.

If all you want to do is get the DN values at a particular row / column location then you might want to use the Get Pixel Value operator in Spatial Modeler instead.

Cheers
