Is there is a way to add public maps to the project legend of GMSC 2016 as non-editable layers

Re: Add public maps to project legend

Hi,

can you please carify? Public Maps and GMSC are 2 different user interfaces. Of course the WMTS you use in Public Maps can be used in GMSC itself.

Best regards,

Stefano

Hi,

After defining the public maps. Is there is a way to display it at the GMSC application as a background layer?

Re: Add public maps to project legend

As I said the WMTS service can be used as layer in the GMSC project.

Re: Add public maps to project legend

Thank you very much

But the created base maps are not avalibale to select from them at creation of WMTS base map.. only the GMSC projects are avaliable.

May you please, write the steps to use public maps (e.g.Google maps ) as the GMSC background layer.

Re: Add public maps to project legend

You cannot use Google Maps as background in the GMSC project. You can use WMTS services (the ones you can create in the GMSC configuration itself using the project content or even external WMTS services) or Bing Maps or OpenStreet Maps if it is stored in database (not using the Javascript API).

Public Maps is just the container as thin client of different backdrops services (in this case you can use Google and OSM).
