Database Labeling question

Using Database Labeling and following

http://smartclient.intergraph.at/documentation/Labeling_(Database_Labeling)#Example

Is it mandatory that the TEXT Feature be a   2D feature?

VIALES is 3D feature and I want to label VIALES , I have created a feature label

table : VIALES  label feature VIALES_LBL

INSERT INTO USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA VALUES ('VIALES_LBL','GEOMETRY', MDSYS.SDO_DIM_ARRAY(

 MDSYS.SDO_DIM_ELEMENT('X',-2147483648, 2147483648, 0.00005),

 MDSYS.SDO_DIM_ELEMENT('Y',-2147483648, 2147483648, 0.00005),

MDSYS.SDO_DIM_ELEMENT('Z',-2147483648, 2147483648, 0.00005)),NULL);

CREATE INDEX GX_VIALES_LBL ON VIALES_LBL (GEOMETRY)

indextype IS MDSYS.SPATIAL_INDEX parameters

('SDO_INDX_DIMS=3 SDO_RTR_PCTFREE=10 SDO_FANOUT=40

TABLESPACE=USERS INITIAL=64K NEXT=64K MAXEXTENTS=UNLIMITED');

I get the error : unexpected error

Re: Database Labeling question

Hi,

it sounds like an Oracle issue. Which database version are you running? Please check on Oracle support for similar problems.

Regards,

Stefano

Re: Database Labeling question

Confirm your version of Oracle.

ORA-13243: el operador especificado no está soportado para árboles R de tres o más
dimensiones
ORA-06512: en "MDSYS.SDO_INDEX_METHOD_10I", línea 333

This was a known bug in 10 and older versions of Oracle.

Please confirm Oracle versions.

Thank You,

Marc
