I thought I should mention that the workaround, with out installing Oracle Client, would be to get a copy of OCI.dll and copy it into the GeoMedia SmartClient\Program\GDAL\x64\plugins directory.
The OCI.dll is available in by various means and I haven't included it here as I beleive the license does not allow for the redistribution.

Hello, I have the same problem than Nuno on customer side.
We are working on windows Server 2008 R2 / GMSC 2016 / Oracle 11g .
Same error for ECW and JPEG raster feature classes. Those feature classes have been created by GeoMedia.
Is there a solution? Nuno, did you solve your problem?

does your error say
"System.Data.SqlTypes.SqlNullValueException: Data is Null. This method or property cannot be called on Null values."
? In that case I have the impression is related to the BBOX...

Yes, this is the message.
Do you mean this is related to MDSYS metadata?! which BBOX? In GMSC feature definition?
NB: It works on my plateform. The only difference I see for now is that they are using GeoMedia 6.1 for inserting raster in Oracle and I am using 2015/2016.

it might be related in reading oracle metadata. Can you check if the oracle user can read user_sdo_geom_metadata view?

Connecting with the schema owner (the one used to define feature in GMSC), we can see the user_sdo_geom_metadata:
SDO_DIM_ARRAY(SDO_DIM_ELEMENT('X', -2,147E+09, 2147483647, ,000005), SDO_DIM_ELEMENT('Y', -2,147E+09, 2147483647, ,000005))
No difference with the vector data meatadata.
Everything have been created though GeoMedia.
