Hi all,
we have GMSC 2018 Update 3 installed. Everything works OK most of the time. But sometimes it fails to start with error "No valid license" or it does start, but when trying to open some workflow it returns "Invalid license". It is completely random, I was not able to detect the cause of this error. Sometimes it works fine whole day, sometimes it fails several times a day.
Any idea?

Hi Tereza,
Intermittent issues can be hard to diagnose.
In this case I would suggest completing again the GMSC Configuration Wizard steps.
If the issue persists after that it would be best to open a support ticket for a more in depth investigation.

Hi Tereza,
Beware of multiple licenses available to this server...make sure all outdated offline lic are removed...
What does the licerr.txt say ?

Hi Frank,
I deleted old license files on server, but I guess that it should have no effect since there is an activation ID.
I could not find any licerr.txt file.
There is also not much in client log:

Hi Tereza,
You should create the licerr.txt file in C:\Temp\
Restart WWW service and it should start filling afterwards.

I found this error in Licerr.txt:
CLCCheckout: lc_checkout failure.: -157: A Trusted Storage record is invalid. A repair of Trusted Storage is needed. --------- Exit GetNumDays <= --------- Checkout: GetNumDays failure --------- Exit Checkout with a failure. <=
I attached complete Licerr.txt. Usually I can fix the error for a while by restarting IIS.

Hi Tereza,
You can try to repair the license via License Admin: License> Pepair License(s)
However there's a bunch of other errors in the licerr.txt, such as:
CLCGetAttribute: lc_get_attr failure.: -95: Network connect to THIS_HOST failed.
...
CLCCheckout: lc_checkout failure.: -5: Specified feature does not exist.
...
and at the end the GMSC licenses are checked out successfully.
If this is a VM installation, it may be that its configuration changes now and then. Please make sure to follow "best practices" listed here:
