Geomedia Smart client 2020 and Windows server 2019

Hello,

According to the GeoMedia Smart Client 2020 release guide, the system requirements is to have Windows server 2016.

Does GMSC 2020 is compatible with Windows server 2019 ?

Regards,

Ervins

Re: Geomedia Smart client 2020 and Windows server 2019

Hi Ervins,

As of November 2019 and as you have noted here, Windows Server 2016 is the latest OS listed as supported with GeoMedia Smart Client (GMSC) 2020.

This was the same case for M.App Enterprise 2019 upon it's release, but it has recently added the Windows Server 2019 OS to its list of supported OS.

I suspect GMSC 2020 will follow suit in the near future.

I realize it doesn't directly answer your question, but it's the best information I have at this time.

Are there any changes regarding this issue? Does Windows Server 2019 is supported?

It's been five years since first post! Anyone tested GMSC2020 on Windows server 2019?
