Hi,
We have an installation of GMSC, in which we use the standard URL: http://[servername]/GMSC/. The costumer wants to change that to use, instead of the server name or the ip adress, an alias based on their institucional address, which would be something like http://www.[alias].com/GMSC.
To do that, the idea is to create a direct rule or to create a subdomain pointing to the server.
Which of this would be best in terms of GMSC, what would need to be changed in GMSC configuration and what could be the impacts.
Thanks in advance.
Brs,
Nuno

Hi,
You need to have a DNS server or you can edit your customer C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

as @AndiFirdaus suggested it is just a network configuration. From the GMSC configuration point of view you don't have to change anything.
