Cannot see GeoMedia Oracle features in GeoMedia Smart Client

Why can't GeoMedia Features exported to an Oracle Database using the Output to Feature class command not be seen in GeoMedia Smart Client?

When using the output to feature class command in GeoMedia to an Oracle Warehouse, GeoMedia maps the ID to

Number(38) in .Net maps to a decimal.

GeoMedia Smart Client requires the ID, if a numerical number, to be an integer or type number(18).

From Microsoft in regards to the Oracle Integer:

This data type is an alias for the NUMBER(38) data type, and is designed so that the OracleDataReader returns a System.Decimal or OracleNumber instead of an integer value. Using the .NET Framework data type can cause an overflow.
