Runtime License Administrator (How To)

This section describes how to use the Runtime License Administrator in GeoMedia Smart Client.



Step 1: Call up the necessary URL



You have to type in the following url:




Step 2: Login/Register



You have to click Login if you are already registered in the database. Click Register if it is the first time you called up the Runtime Licence Administrator.


Step 2.1: Register


Click Register and a new form opens.





Click Register if you filled out every field. You will receive an e-mail when your account is approved.


Step 2.2: Login 


If your account is approved, you can login with the data you filled in in step 2.1.





Navigation on the left side
Workflows In this list you will find every workflow you've already uploaded
New Workflow In this form you are able to upload new workflows
Logout You will be logged out



Step 3: Upload a new workflow






Note: Only files with extension *.xml can be uploaded.


Click Select to upload the specific WorkflowSettings.xml. Then you will forwarded to a new form, where you have to add the FormSettings.xml.





Click Add to add the specific FormSettings.xml.


Note: At least one of the uploaded FormSettings.xml must have the same name as the WorkflowSettings.xml.



Step 4: Create assembly


If FormSettings.xml and WorkflowSettings.xml name is the same you are able to click Create assembly without getting an error.



Step 5: Saving the content of the zip file


Then open the zip file and you will see one *.dll file. This has to be extracted at INSTALLDIR\Program\Workflows\bin. 



Step 6: (GMSC only) Create a new workflow connection in GMSC Admin


Once you have finished the previous five steps, create a new workflow connection in the GeoMedia Smart Client.
