Geomedia and versioning in SQL Server Spatial 2016

Does Geomedia support versioning for SQL Server Spatial 2016 database as is the case with Oracle Workspace Manager. Our customer would like to version certain tables, in order to keep history of changes made to the database. I know Transaction Manager utilises Oracle Workspace Manager for this, but is there someone who have implemented something similar for SQL Server database using Geomedia? Thanks

Re: Geomedia and versioning in SQL Server Spatial 2016

GeoMedia incorportates and leverages use of Oracle WorkSpace Manager for GeoMedia revision set commands.  The commands are only  available when connected via the Oracle LTT Read-Write data server.  There's no equalivent set of predefined views & triggers offered by MS SQL or PostGIS.

You could possibly customize your schema with it's own set of views and triggers to meet your needs but understanably that could be a complex task depending on your needs.  You may want to pass your requirements to your sales represenative for the possibilty of services work.  If you are an HGDN subscriber, you could also request an evaluation based on your requirements.
