How can I improve GeoMedia 3D map window display performance other than increased video card(VRAM)?
If you are running a GeoMedia product command that requires intensive memory or processing system resources, it is recommended that you run the command in a 2D map window rather than in a 3D map window. When the process has completed, you can convert to a 3D window to visualize the results.
For the best roaming/navigation experience, it is recommended that you turn the Locatable property off for all legend entries in order to reduce intermittent pauses and hesitations. Further to this, flying a route using the Flight Paths command is considered a form of roaming/navigation, and so it is recommended that you turn the Locatable property off for all legend entries.
If you are adding a thematic legend entry that has a Type of Unique Value Thematic and that will be displayed in a 3D map window, performance will be best if the number of unique feature records that are referenced by the legend entry is less than 100.
