When using Oracle connections in Geomedia Desktop via the Oracle Object Model data server, users can create a text file called goracle.log and place it in the c:\temp directory of their local machine. This will log all communication between GeoMedia and the Oracle warehouse connection and is essential in troubleshooting problems with the database.
When users log an issue with support, they will be asked to send the goracle.log which will help support determine the problem encountered.
The goracle.log will track Oracle errors as well as GeoMedia errors related to the database.
