WFS connesction fail due Schema declaration not being found.

[ Edited ]

Hi,

When connecting to WFS services there is an error regarding to a schema validation:

when trying using the following service url:

https://data.linz.govt.nz/services%3Bkey%3DXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/wfs/layer-53378?service=WFS&request=GetCap...

It shows: Schema declaration for namespace 'http://data.linz.govt.nz' is not found.

Is there a way to make Geomedia to ignore this validation?

Thank you

Hi Pascoal,

Are you still on GeoMedia version 2016 or earlier?

There are a number of known issues with WFS in version 2016 and prior that are fixed in version 2018, including the one you refer to below.

With version 2018 with latest update applied, I can successfully display WFS data from LINZ.

I'm not sure which layer you were grabbing, but I tested NZ_Primary_Parcels (layer-772)

https://data.linz.govt.nz/services%3Bkey%3Dxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/wfs/layer-772?service=WFS&request=GetCapa...

which displayed fine.

... and to confirm I was able to display layer-53378 NZ_Roads__Road_Section_Geometry as well.

Hint: Make sure you apply a spatial filter before displaying the data - otherwise will load all of NZ.
