a customer is trying to create a DTM in TIFF, using ATE. This window appears:
The format is automatically changed in LTFX. Is it possible to change the maximum point threshold ?
How it is managed?
thank you very much

DTM output in ATE is limited to about 7 million points when the output format is DEM and TM TIN. if you hit teh limit, generate the output in LTFx format and then use TPT to convert the LTFx output to DEM.

Thank you for the reply Sam,
In the help I read https://hexagongeospatial.fluidtopics.net/reader/5VsIDRDWkTIfq4xcVz8V4w/uec3fFohcBgGofaBZWrQmQ
Preferences > Photogrammetry
"Maximum number of points for IMG/PRO creation Set the limit for the number of points in a DEM or TerraModel TIN output file from ATE. When this limit is reached ATE automatically saves the file as an LTFx output file (instead of a .IMG or .PRO). You can then use the Terrain Prep tool to rasterize the file to a DEM."
What does this threshold control?
