Re: Graphic Cards for Stereo Visualization

[ Edited ]

Release Guide for ERDAS IMAGINE 2020 Update 1 has been corrected:

ERDAS_IMAGINE_2020_Release_Guide.pdf

I also added Windows 10 Enterprise as a supported operating system.

Sorry for the confusion.

Cheers

Re: Graphic Cards for Stereo Visualization

Dear all,

NVIDIA QUADRO P series  (for example P6000) is in end of life

Could ERDAS IMAGINE Stereo work with new series like NVIDIA Quadro RTX6000?

thanks

Re: Graphic Cards for Stereo Visualization

Hi,

We haven't tested Quadro RTX Series yet, but it is expected to work as long as there is a 3D Vision driver for it.

I just checked the driver R418 U6 (426.00) and it supports 3D Vision and also supports Quadro RTX 6000.

Re: Graphic Cards for Stereo Visualization

We have managed to maintain operation of our 3D workstations running Stereoanalyst for ArcGIS on Windows 10 by using P and M series quadro cards and earlier Win10 drivers that still supported 3D.  Is Hexagon investigating future GPU options to support professional users in this and similar environments?  Have youlooked at AMD Radeon cards?  Are there any other providers?  I still find it hard to believe that nVidia has walked away from 3D.
