IMAGINE Objective crashes trying to open .lfp

Hello.

Objective fails to open a Feature Project that I had just successfully been using and saving. No error message pops up, the workstation just closes. The log is as follows:

20/11/20 17:35:51 eWkspace(6584): Query for 'fe_workstation' returned no results.
20/11/20 17:35:51 F:/bin/Win32Release/fe_workstation.exe
20/11/20 17:36:08 fe_workstation(9068): Starting Objective Workstation
20/11/20 17:36:46 fe_workstation(9068): Attempting to load JVM from (null)
20/11/20 17:36:46 fe_workstation(9068): Attempting to load JVM from (null)
20/11/20 17:36:48 SessionMgr(10588): fe_workstation.exe exited with status -1073741819.

I followed the previous advice in another thread to install the latest Java Development Kit and to set the environment variable Java_Home. This hasn't changed anything though.

One thought I have is that there may be an issue with how I've installed IMAGINE as it is on a new hard drive that I've just installed, rather than the C drive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Hiya,

Just checking that this is the advice you followed for JAVA:

Re: IMAGINE Objective crashes trying to open .lfp

Hi again @JohnnieJ

Perfect, it works! I had to install JRE rather than JDK, as was shown elsewhere online.

You're a saint,
