Raster creation from points via spline interpolation method

Dear community,

I am wondering if in Erdas Imagine Spatial Modeler it is possible to interpolate from a vector point dataset a raster surface via the Spline interpolation method. According to the operator list only IDW and some method via TIN (Convert to surface operator) seems to be available.

Thanks!

Re: Raster creation from points via spline interpolation method

Hi,

According to my knowledge there are only two types of interpolations method in SM so far. Converting to surface based on TIN as preprocessing(Convert to surface), and IDW(interpolate Using IDW). Spline method is available in GRID functionallity in Geomedia Desktop.

If you're interested in seeing Spline interprolation added to Spatial Modeler in the future please post the request into the Ideas board.
