as ERDAS IMAGINE can read so many files, it is sometimes annoying to alwys choose the right file type (tif, img,...) in the File Chooser Window.
Is it possible to add "Show all file types" to the "Files of type" list?
Especially if you have a well organized folder structure, the sum of files within a folder is not too big. Then it would help to see all files at the same time. I know that it is possible by entering "*" in the filename dialogue. But first of all not everybody knows that hint and furthermore it would be nice to set this option in Input ports to avoid mistakes in the data selection process.

You can see all file types for the defined format (raster, vector, etc.). For example, when you open Raster Layer, from the Files of type drop-down list, you can pick All File-based Raster Formats to see all raster files in the defined location.
