CR# 1-7T9YA8

Summary: IMAGINE ImageInfo  gives “invalid datum” error message while opening IMG file written in ArcMap10.1

Description: The customer reported that the projection information written by ArcGIS does not seem to be recognised by IMAGINE properly. The issue occurs with raster dataset, in which projection information was defined in ArcGIS (using Define Projection ToolBox tool). When the user opens this data, in IMAGINE ImageInfo (Edit ImageMetadata), the ImageInfo gives the error "Invalid datum name".

Cause of the problem: ArcMap 10.1 is not creating correctly formatted IMG files.
