IMAGINE InSAR fails at Coregister COSMO-SkyMed datastep when the InSAR project name contains a space

by Technical Evangelist on ‎04-08-2016 01:16 PM (454 Views)

Symptoms

IMAGINE InSAR fails at Coregister step when the InSAR project name contains a space and the input reference and match files are COSMO-SkyMed data with *.h5 filename extension.

Diagnosis

f an IMAGINE InSAR project name contains a space (ex. “cosmo dem.insar”) the InSAR tool will stop with an error at the Coregister step when using COSMO-SKyMed data with a .h5 filename extension.

Error Message: FileProxiedIdentifyAndOpen failed (39299568:Unknown error) for c:/insar/csks3_scs_u_s2_14_hh_ra_sf_20101019044927_20101019044935.h5_insar cosmo_match.slc.par

Solution

The solution is to use an InSAR project filename that does not contain any spaces. For example, change the project filename from "cosmo dem.insar" to "cosmo_dem.insar".

This problem does not occur if the InSAR reference and match data are in IMG format.
