Digital Medium format cameras have an issue with distortion and possibly diffusion as well as the short focal length creates poor geometry. They can be used, but emphasis should be placed on platform calibration and little faith on vendor claims. If large scale accuracy is desired one must fly lower than the film equivalent and possibly perform a grid calibration over a high accuracy test block to apply the grid correction to measured points. Please provide the specific camera model and vendor software for platform calibration you are interested in pursuing.

The UAV Import command in ISPM does recognize the iXU-1000R and the iXU-RS1900 cameras. I was able to download three small samples from Phase One's web site. The iXU-RS1900 photos imported without any problem, but the two iXU-1000R samples errored off. The camera was recognized properly but I suspect there might be some EXIF tags that could be throwing us off. I am adding a story to our backlog to investigate the failure for these samples.

We have several customers who have setup Phase-one IXU-RS-1000 using Imagestation. They are just entering the Project information manually. As Dan mentioned above the danger is entering the Lens Distortion information with Coefficients. Beware the Equation and the Order of the coefficients, the equation may not be exactly the same as that used by Imagestation.
A recent calibration certificate we got included 3 lots of coefficients for slightly different polynomial lens distortion equations, although names K1 to K5 are same. Incorrect input can give very bad distortions not initially seen.
The best to be certain , is to use Radial Correction Lookup Table (distances and corrections) and let Imagestation compute the coefficients.
