I have migrated a workflow from GMSC to M.App Enterprise. The workflow has a form for uploading files. I am able to see the files but not able to open or download them like is possible in GMSC. Also the upload functionality works in M.App Ent but on submitting/saving the form i get the error attached.
The files are stored in a GMSC warehouse folder.

I see the same result during a quick test and the logged error is identical to what you report. I'll need to investigate further to see if this is indeed a bug. Have you submitted a support ticket on this already? If not please feel free to do so or you may also message me your contact info and I may open one on your behalf.

We are encountering the same issue, with the same error logged.
Is this error solved, or does anyone have a workaround?
We are using the latest version of M.App Enterprise (2016.1 SP1)

This is issue was reproduced by Hexagon Support and was to be corrected in M.App Enterprise 2018 or version 16.5. Am not sure if there is a patch but i decided to wait for the new release (version 16.5) which i don't think is available for download yet. If you need it resolved urgently you can try create a ticket.

Some versions confusion here...
M.App Enterprise isn't released in "major release" as Power Portfolio products.
The next expected version is 16.1.2 which is to be released soon and should have this issue with Workflows fixed.

I will look into this further and I have reached out to Elvis ,who reported this issue to support in the beginning, for additional information.
I'll update this thread as we have pertinent information.

For anyone who may be experiencing issues with FormFile in M.App Enterprise workflows:
We have tested here and shown that the FormFile is working for upload/open/download file functionality with Workflows in M.App Enterprise 16.1 SP 2.
Should you have an issue in this regard we recommend opening a support ticket for further investigation by our team.
