Desktop client launch failure

Hi All,

 

I am getting an error that I have never seen before when I launch a Desktop client appliaction. It is throwing a 500 Internal Server Error before booting and a dialog box is appearing that states "Failure during program start".

 

The log result is attached (log.txt) and states:

System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: value

 

And the Java log file is also attached (MAE_20190424_09_54_06.txt) and states:
500 Internal Server Error
{"message":"Value cannot be null.\r\nParameter name: value"}

 

I cannot seem to understand what value is being returned as null upon startup and why. Especially since I mentioned I have never seen this behaviour before and the application has been up and running for a long time now. Has anyone else experienced similar from the Desktop client and/ or know any potential fixes? Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Never seen this.

Did you change sth. regarding localization/languages?

Hi,

 

No this application is an older version of MAE (16.1.4) - which I don't believe has localization/ language capabilities.
