Displaying LAYERS FTOM WFS in desktop/browser/mobile apps

Hi all,

What is the capabilities of desktop, browser and mobile apps related to displaying layers from external WFS source?

cat it be displayed as a layer in desktop and browser apps? Is it possible to predefined symbology for such a layer? How? If not, what symbology is actually used by browser/web/mobile apps to display those layers?

how about getting feature info? Is that supported?

thanks:-)

Re: Displaying LAYERS FTOM WFS in desktop/browser/mobile apps

Hi Gideon,

Currently M.App Enterprise 2019 supports display of WFS services in Desktop and Browser M.Apps. Mobile M.Apps are limited to Tile Overlay services WMTS and WMS.

Style Editor and Stylesets do not support styling of WFS services at this time. Default display will be 'grey'.

The capabilities of OGC Services including WFS in M.App Enterprise is getting a make over in the coming M.App Enteprise 2021 release. More specific information on that topic will accompany that release.
