How do you launch a Feature Analyzer view from an existing customer application

New M.App Enterprise customer has an existing web system that they would like to augment with a FA view.  Their vision is to have a hyperlink on their web page that goes directly to the FA view and does not require any further authentication.  Would I need an intermediate script to perform M.App Ent authentication? Has anyone else done this? If so, how?

Re: How do you launch a Feature Analyzer view from an existing customer application

A followup question is how would I hyperlink a FA view from a public facing webpage?

Re: How do you launch a Feature Analyzer view from an existing customer application

Hi,

there is a similar solution here:

http://community.hexagongeospatial.com/t5/GSP-Internal-Support-Discussions/quot-Public-M-App-quot-in...

baiscally the idea is to have a "public" role and automatically log in the user using a script.

Stefano

Re: How do you launch a Feature Analyzer view from an existing customer application

Hi Stefano - Can't get this working just yet - close but :

  1. I don't have the endpoint code in my install for 'https://localhost/api/v1/oauth2/token'?  Is it part of a newer install of ME or am I missing something?
  2. The html code is missing a jQuery reference, I believe - I used <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.2.1/jquery.min.js"></script>

cheers

Re: How do you launch a Feature Analyzer view from an existing customer application

Hi Robert,

there is a reference to jquery in the html code sample:

<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.2.1.min.js" integrity="sha256-hwg4gsxgFZhOsEEamdOYGBf13FyQuiTwlAQgxVSNgt4=" crossorigin="anonymous"></script>

The endpoint is your M.App Enterprise server:

https://[SERVERNAME]/api/v1/oauth2/token

Stefano
