Mobile App: Internal Server Error

I have followed the Tutorial 'How to setup a Mobile App' from cschwarz (link).

It works fine until running the mobile App itself. In the last step: Select your App / Wipe local data? off -> orange Button, an internal server error occurs that I have attached below.

What causes this error?

Thanks and regards,

Hella

Re: Mobile App: Internal Server Error

Hi Hella,

do you see any error in Studio log (Security -> Logs)?

Re: Mobile App: Internal Server Error

Hey,

I have still not been able to successfully create a mobile App. Meanwhile I get a different log '42P01: Relation 'Location' does not exist' (attached).

Do you might have an idea what I am doing wrong?

Re: Mobile App: Internal Server Error

Hi Hella,

Locations seems to be not in the local DB. Please check you do have it in your connectionstring (defined for the Mobile app), in the local cache (you can use the wipe local cache button to make sure you download everything from the server) and as entity in the shell.xaml file.

Re: Mobile App: Internal Server Error

Hi Hella,

can you try renaming your table to 'location' and see if it works?

Similar to Workflows, table names are not escaped and PostgreSQL driver automatically sends them lowercase.

Re: Mobile App: Internal Server Error

Hey Stefano,

It seems that it did not work on my localhost because i do not have an appropriate SSL certificate.

Now that I use an installation of another server its working.

Thanks and regards,

Hella

Re: Mobile App: Internal Server Error

Hi there

I have a similar problem like Hella did. I receive "internal server error" when selecting my app in the pickup list and a logfile which says "42P01: relation "locations" does not exist". I changed to http so there shouldn't be any issue with the ssl-certificate.

Does someone have an idea what could be the issue here?

Re: Mobile App: Internal Server Error

Hi Nicole,

Rename either the table of your database or the table withing the shell.xaml.
