This tutorial describes how you can combine M.App Enterprise and Power BI.
1.) Log in to your Power BI account at https://app.powerbi.com
2.) Click in the Visualization panel on the three horizontal points.
3.) Click Import from file
4.) Point to the *.pbiviz file (you have to download and extract the attached file first)
5.) Now you should see the Hexagon Geospatial Logo
1.) Click on the Hexagon Geospatial Logo
2.) A widget placeholder gets visible in the main window
3.) Drag and drop the desired columns from the data to the corresponding Fields of Power BI.
Note: You have the possibility to either set Latitude / Longitude or WKT Geometry. It is not possible to use both approaches. The columns Latitude / Longitude need not to be in geographic coordinates.

Longitude = lambda or x
4.) As soon as you dropped a column in the corresponding field, the widget in the main window changes and you now can connect to certain Map Views, which were created in M.App Enterprise Studio.
Tenant: Name of the tenant, where the Map View is available
M.App Enterprise Endpoint: URL to the Server (e.g.: https://myServer/)
API-Key: You have to use one of the API-Keys, you have created in the Studio. For more information on how to create API-Keys please have a look at the FluidTopics help.
NOTE: If you are using version 0.9.3 of the Power BI widget you have to use
Username and Password of the Studio administrator to login successfully.
Map Config: All available Map Views in the previous defined Tenant.
Map SRID: Shows you the SRID of the Map View.
Geometry SRID: This is only needed if the SRID of the geometry is different to the SRID of the map.
Note: As soon as you have changed the Map Config and set the Geometry SRID correct, click Reload.
Here you can switch on / switch off layers, which should appear in the Map widget.
Size: Can be static or if the Field is correctly set also be dynamic
Color: Can be static or if the Field is correctly set also be dynamic
